Only active students are counted; archived and passed-out students are excluded.

A student is counted once even when multiple parent logins are connected.

A 5% temporary admissions buffer is included for short-term count spikes.

If the student count stays above the limit for 15 days, the next slab applies next cycle.

Monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions are paid in advance; GST is additional.

Data remains available in read-only mode for 30 days after subscription expiry.

01Which Maskeen plan is right for my institution?

Choose Pre-School for an independent pre-primary campus, K–12 for one full school campus, and Chain / Group when one organization manages multiple schools. We confirm the best slab from your active student count, campus count and migration needs during the demo.

02What is an active student for billing?

Only currently active students are counted. Archived, passed-out and deleted records are excluded, and a student is counted only once even when more than one guardian has access.

03What happens if our student count crosses the slab limit?

A 5% temporary buffer is allowed during admissions. If the count remains above your limit for 15 days, the next slab starts from the following billing cycle, so a short spike does not immediately change your invoice.

04Is the mobile app included?

Yes. Access to the shared Maskeen Android and iOS app is included. White-label apps with your own branding are optional paid add-ons because they require separate build and store maintenance.

05What does onboarding include?

Standard onboarding includes organization and school setup, admin training, and a standard Excel student import. Complex historical finance migration, custom reporting and third-party integrations are quoted separately.

06Are SMS, WhatsApp and online-payment charges included?

They are billed separately because provider costs change with usage. Payment-gateway fees are paid by the school, while SMS and WhatsApp usage are charged at provider cost plus the stated service margin.

07Can a school start with a trial?

A 15-day trial may be offered without data migration. It is intended to validate the daily workflows before selecting a paid slab.

08Can we move to another plan later?

Yes. You can move to a higher slab as enrolment grows, or move from a single-campus plan to a Chain / Group setup when the institution expands to multiple schools.
